1. Wow Obama's only 4 points behind Clinton
She may fall into third place.

If she finishes third in the primary, behind Obama and Edwards, what will happen to her campaign then?

4. I hope Democrats eventually come to realize that too many Democratic voters, not activists,
Edited on Thu Aug-16-07 04:41 PM by trayted
but voters, are too insanely irrate about "illegal immigration" to nominate Bill Richardson, and his support stalls.

The worst thing that could happen for 2008 is nominating Bill Richardson, and having to continuously fend off charges all election that he has "secret deals" with Mexico. If the 2008 election is allowed to be made all about illegal immigration, which nominating Bill Richardson does, he'd lose like Mondale, and the Democrats would lose so many seats in Congress that the GOP would have a veto proof majority to go along with a GOP President.

8. Here we go again. What does what I posted have to do with me? Can you post objective analysis?
Edited on Thu Aug-16-07 07:03 PM by trayted
Would the scenario that I described play out that way, since I was posting the most likely "scenario" of a Richardson nomination? Would the GOP not use illegal immigration 100% of the time against Bill Richardson?

What in the world does discussing GOP tactics against Richardson, and talking about all of the Democrats who call in to C-Span saying they might vote GOP because of illegal immigration have to do with "me"?

I have noticed a trend here. Anyone who doesn't want to have a discussion about the "meat" of an issue automatically unleashes charges of bigotry. Oh well. Maybe you would rather be a lazy thinker and lose again.

3. This is a client-based (not public) polling firm
So, now, what client commissioned the poll? And what client released it? The answer to that would be of some interest.

Peter D. Hart Research Associates is strategic research, not just polling or market research. Our clients turn to us - and return to us - because our work is both highly creative and designed to uncover the information that leads to sound decision-making, whether it's a campaign, a communications plan, or a corporate logo.

6. This is why I don't count Edwards out
If he wins Iowa he gets a lot of publicity, like Kerry got, and it could be a steam roller effect going into NH and SC (which he won in '04).

7. Why do I keep seeing polls saying Hillary is leading?
Is She leading in national polls, but not in particular state ones?
