We have a lunatic for a President. What are CNN and MSNBC covering, the death of Anna Nicole Smith. Not one word about the fact that Scooter Libby is going to jail. Not a word about being threatened by Iran that if we attack them they will attack American installations around the world.

What a joke the media in America has become. It's now 4:30 and The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer has been coverin Anna Nicole Smith's death for 30 minutes so far.

Our media is pathetic. There are tragic deaths every day of people that are more important than Anna F'ing Nicole Smith. Her only claim to fame is big fake boobs and marrying an old guy that was worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Shame on us. I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more.

She was still young enough to turn things around. I wish she had taken her money, or a portion of it, and chosen to live quietly with her new baby.

I don't have cable at my house. It is precisely because the news media has become a joke that I won't pay for any of that. I rarely watch network news. I get my news from the Internet, and I read the papers. I subscribe to the Nation and watch c-span on my computer.

This is only a suggestion, but if you are mad as hell, turn your back on them. It might not wake them up, but it will hurt them in their hearts...uh...wallets.
