I'm hesitating to donate again. I probably will, but DU isn't the safe haven it used to be. It seems like one attack after another! And, quite honestly, it gets v-e-r-y tedious and emotionally draining to come here for news.

not doing everything they wanted day before yesterday. SOme peopel on DU seem not to understand the way the prolitical process works in DC. I know Will spelled it out in a long and detailed (and very informative) post, and even got slammed for his trouble on that one.

When people can get away with calling a legitimate Dem candidate

a repuke, then fook it. I divert that cash off to the candidate

I went to Amazon and went all the way through the page where you click "submit" to make the donation. Then it took me to a page beyond that with a link to return to the Amazon home page. But my donation did not go through. I am always a bit leery about doing these things more than once--for fear I will end up making multiple donations or ordering an item more than once, so I guess I'm "screwn" for this quarter--and DU is out my attempted donation.
