And considering that the overriding mindset here is one of ridiculing those who hope for a peace and love. You know, the Hippie jokes, the false stereotyping of those in peace organizations as "whimpy" and "weak".

And also considering the glamorization of violence, the "warm fuzzies" people get when a fighter jet flies over, and the constant media bombardment with the military/industrial/complex's propaganda.

When it does hit the fan I am predicting a "Road Warriors" scenario rather than a communal gathering of peace and problem solving.

The concepts of peace on earth and forgiveness have always been considered radical, violence and anger the mundane and tragic norm, by those for whom greed and power lust are paramount.

That seems to be the premise upon which your observations are based.

And, I haven't seen that movie so I can't remark on whether or not its credible as a blueprint of the future.
