First off, the RW is good at this and we just play along. I'm angry at DU and the media for just caving once again and falling in line with the attacks. Ummm, Pelosi has high poll ratings, let's attack her. Pentagon schills 'leak' that she wants a bigger airplane. The RW media picks it up and it turns into a story that Pelosi wants special priviledges. The blogosphere picks it up and well meaning posters join the club that Pelosi is wrong. Can't you see where the story came from????? Why are we debating this. The first FEMALE speaker of the House asked the Pentagon for guidance on type of plane to use. She's a target and wants protection. Get real and quit bashing our own.

Let's go down the list. Go for Edwards. He's well off. He didn't buy the proper bulbs for his house and he has a large house. Are you serious? Does anyone here for a second think this disqualifies him as President? Everyone of the major contenders is well off and I don't have a clue what type of light bulbs they buy. What I'm more concerned with is the legislation and policies they promote.

Move on to the bloggers. Wow, Edwards hired feminist bloggers. Surprise, surprise, they advocate birth control and dislike conservative crazies. Yep, the left should cave because some RW crazy organizes against the bloggers and say they are against Catholicism. Again, get real. Malkin and the other crazies are behind the attack but the left just joins along.

Then there is the spin that it's the Dems fault that we can't stop the war. Are you crazy? The Reps had a party line vote to stop the debate. Ummm, let's spin this and claim both parties are responsible. Yeah, that makes logical sense. :sarcasm:

Can all of you just step back and see how we are being played. Don't sign onto every new RW smear. Stand up for our own. And for those advocating for a specific candidate and you think it's great that another candidate is attacked, remember that it will be your own next. We have to stand together.
