1. Sheehan's 9% is significant since Pelosi won last time by 80%

9. That is what Sheehan wants to do
is to drain votes from the Democratic party, however slight the percentage, it will make a dent in
Pelosi's easy ride into the last election. But 9%; what a waste of time and MONEY.:eyes:

3. Well This Says Who Cindy Speaks For In That District
Melanie Morgan and her coven must be having a field day with this. I wouldn't be surprised if there was already a clandestine effort by the local GOOP to bag their primary and see if they can embarass Pelosi by quietly supporting Sheehan (and NO I'm not saying Sheehan would willingly go along with this...she's seems oblivious to Repugnicans these days). A few days ago I spoke with a good friend who lives in that district and asked about Cindy's candidacy...and this person who is very liberal/progressive all but laughed about it. He joked more the fact that Cindy doesn't live in the district and called her a "carpetbagger"...and he asked why doesn't she run in her district?

7. Make no mistake, the Rovian hordes will be campaigning for Sheehan
behind her back. They see an opportunity to at least water down Pelosi's victory,
even though they probably don't think they can get her ousted.

6. Ironically, she may already live in the 3rd District
Cindy Sheehan said she lives in a Sacramento suburb but declined to disclose which city, citing safety reasons.

A minor fwiw - there are no residency requirements for congressional members, according to the California secretary of state's office.

11.  Lungren and Doolittle, too.
Those are the two races I'll be watching closely. I understand Charlie Brown is tooling up for victory a run against Doolittle. Any word from Bill Durston yet?

8. Seems to me that would be the smart thing to do and we'd have a new seat.
She could win that seat. Then she could challenge Pelosi in the House for 2 years straight. That seems smarter.
