Peggy Noonan pens an incoherent op-ed on the decisiveness of Petraeus by

Wall Street Journal
Peggy Noonan pens an incoherent op-ed on the decisiveness of Petraeus by recalling a story in how he called the shots on his own medical care after a gunshot wound, but the reader never really learns why this is relevant to the general's task at hand: reporting on the progress of the mission in Iraq. She writes that the general was once shot in a training exercise and Sen. Bill Frist, R-Tenn., was his surgeon.

(He wasn't a senator at the time.) Petraeus asked to go into surgery quickly. Why this is important? No clue, but Noonan's main point seems to be that if the general sounds believable in September, the American people will believe him and allow more time for Iraq. Uh, OK.

2. Peg's Playing With Her Meds Again
Here's a lady who never got past the schoolgirl crush stage in life...and now that her great "communicable" has gone to the great beyond, she's been in need of a new mancrush. She tried boooshie, but he just doesn't moisten her loins...but it sure sounds like Patreus does.

3. It's simple. Peggy's left the USS Bush, she can't cite Bush as authority.
So she goes to the next best thing available and uses Petraeus as the authority instead, so that people can be convinced to follow Bush's goals without having to follow Bush himself.

4. Anyone who's buds with Frist is automatically suspect.
Noonan goes on with some bullshit about how America knows now that the war was a flaming mistake, and yet we believe that we can redeem ourselves by staying in Iraq. That's some pretty fucked-up thinking.

5. Peggy Noonan and incoherent in the same sentence- A Tautology.
Am I thinking of the right terminology?

If Peggy Noonan is incoherent and Peggy Noonan writes an op-ed will the op-ed be incoherent? Yes! It will be incoherent.

I personally would be willing to fund a production of The Glass Menagerie with Peggy Noonan as the mother.

9. It's just characterization. They make up stories about people's personalities,
who they are.

It's a simple way of looking at the world, but some people can't look at it any other way.

11. BUT IT'S A LIE!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :argh: :grr: :nuke: :nuke:

Sorry, I'm not screaming at you BullGoose, but wow this poor thinking from the GOP really frosts my cookies. It's one thing to be philosophycally different from me. I can understand that, respect it even.

But this is just poor thinking. How does Noonan hold down a job or pay her bills with this shit? He's decisive because he's decisive is not good reasoning at all. It's a superficial thought that illuminates nothing. I mean, my 5 yo niece is a better debater than that, esp when she'd rather go to the pool than to school. Noonan must be great at BJs is all I can say.
