and here is my thought before I go to work.
Al Gore is indeed, the elephant in the room.
However, the smear machine isn't going after him full force.
Makes you wonder WHY and WHAT they have in store for him if he does.:scared:

1. I think they're not going after him because

a. they're having too much fun tearing apart "number 1" and "number 2";
and
b. they know on some level that the Bush administration has been an unmitigated disaster for this country's economy and if the bottom does fall out, there may not only be no profits for longer than a bit, but pissed off hungry, homeless and unemployed people with pitchforks their doors ... and only a brilliant, common sense "pointy headed" President can fix what's been done wrong ... and Al's that guy.

2. Anyhow, when the Repukes have a PR problem as bad as they do now,

they'll need to resort to drumming up a catalyzing event like either-
1) False flag terrorism
2) A full-on war with Iran (based on trumped up 'intel' and/or a manufactured crisis)
Nothing else can bring the mullet-headed sheeple back into the fear zone.
Sounds 'tinfoil-ish', but nothing is off the table with these scumbags.
Considering these options is causing Darth Cheney to sit in his bunker with as much of a hard-on as his failing health can muster.
