5. Drag out that ol' credit card and mortgage the nation's grandchildren's future.
... and great-grandchildren, too. (That's why they need their estates.) :puke:

7. Yet he'll happily pay $250mil for Minneapolis
Is he going to do this for EVERY bridge that collapses? After the fact?

He's never even heard of the words "due diligence", has he?

9. It’s a given Bush would be against gas taxes...
...he wants all hikes in gas prices to go into his buddies bank accounts.

10. it hasn't occured to him
that it's not just us "little people" who use roads/bridges and other infrastructure on a daily basis - it's also businesses

now if congress had proposed selling bridges/road/infrastructure to a private company, like say, Halliburton - he would have been in favor of it

once again it highlights how we are bringing democracy "over there" while losing it "over here", erecting firehouses "over there" and shutting them down "over here", building roads and bridges "over there" while our crumble "over here"

11. He calls for congress to curb spending to fix bridges
Congress can do just that... curb spending on HIS WAR!
He wants congress to revisit the out of control spending... cant some dem make a big deal out of revisiting the spending on Bush's war?
But of course the dems wont turn this issue around on bush... (they miss easy instances always)
