1. Can you support that?
I'm not starting a Citation Fight -- I'd like to know why you think so.

My take on it is that this is a pump-and-dump market, and won't really start to go south until several billions more dollars have been pried out of small investors' pockets.

2. Yeah that's my take too...

...too many times it has looked "really bad" and magically recovered. Until they are done looting the less well protected/managed funds and maybe even get them some of those tax dollars (government bailout or at least insurance money,) there will always be a "recovery" to allow them to cycle the pumps once more.

The sad thing about it is there is just no safe place to put money. Every market is speculated to the hilt and even just holding dollars is risky for anyone that intends to use a good chunk of it for food/energy eventually -- e.g. the little guy. And even canned food only lasts so long so you can't just stock up. Though I hear many vitamins and many pharmeceuticals are good way past their sell-by dates, decades even.

Which if you come right down to it means, for those who earn their money with hard labor or at least intelligent and responsibly benign capitalization, you just cannot collect on the IOUs society gives you. They say thanks sucker and run for the door.

Not a path to a peaceful tomorrow.

5. Whuh? Didn't Kuala Lumpur, get the word?
How come all the exchange indices are down 2-4% except KLSe ... which is a tad up? I smell some laundering.

4. The worst is ahead with as much as $500 Billion or more in mortagages.........
going into foreclosure. I'm sure the FED will bailout the crooked, criminal financials on several fronts. The big guys will be saved and the little guys will go under. Maybe the filthy, obscene rich need another tax cut.

7. If you are that worried, go to money market funds and/or CD's or AAA Corporate bonds.
