"Christians for Social Justice" launches smear site against Barack Obama
Edited on Thu Feb-08-07 02:41 AM by Bluebear
Forewarned is forearmed, folks. If Obama is your candidate you should know about this. My favorite is the "fact" that offering gay men committed monogamous unions will put them at risk for HIV, when clearly the preference is that they stay single and sleep around. Personally, after reading this shit I like Obama more.

ObamaNation.Com to Expose Sen. Obama

Childress

Contact: Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr., 973-296-3915, contact@christiansforsocialjustice.com

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- In anticipation of the Feb. 10 announcement in Springfield, Ill. that Sen. Barack Obama will run to become president of the United States, Christians for Social Justice has launched ObamaNation.Com, a website exposing the hypocrisy of Obama on the greatest moral issues of our time – abortion and homosexual unions.

Pastor Clenard H. Childress, Jr. an African American Pastor and leader of the largest Black Pro Life group in America says "abortion is black genocide. Each day, 1452 African Americans are murdered by abortion. 4,000 children over all. There has been over 15 million African American children dismembered in the womb by the abortion holocaust and as many women victimized. Sen. Obama supports of the wholesale slaughter of our own community by abortion."

Childress, Director for Christians for Social Justice, also says "African Americans make up 12% of the population but account for over 50% of all new cases of HIV. Now, with that said, 60% of all new aids cases in America will be the result of the violation of Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:27 (men having sex with men). If he were to become President of the United States Sen. Obama's support of homosexual unions would pose a real health threat to African Americans."

The Truth about Obama:

* Obama voted to not outlaw Partial Birth Abortion (1997 Illinois ban, 2003 Federal ban)

* Obama voted against protecting born alive infants from abortionists (2002, Induced Infant Liability Act, and the Born Alive Infant Protection Act )

* Obama voted in support of homosexual unions. (06/07/2006, Same Sex Marriage Resolution)

If elected president, Obama's use of the bully pulpit would be a boost for the culture of death and the homosexual agenda. Also, there would always be a threat of an Obama veto of any significant pro-life or pro-family legislation. Obama would undoubtedly nominate pro-abortion justices to the US Supreme Court, which could etch Roe v. Wade into stone for generations.

For interviews or more information contact Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr. at contact@christiansforsocialjustice.com or 973-296-3915.

3. Typical right wing talking points, nothing for Obama to be particularly worried about --
all of the other Dems will be slammed the same way.

They just better do a dang good job fighting back this time.

5. Worse than that. He'd prefer that gay men keep marrying women

and sleep around on the side.

What an idiot. The main reason there are so many more cases of AIDS in the African American community -- particularly among women -- is because of the difficulty many have in openly acknowledging and discussing gay sex and illegal drug use.

So many women are infected because their husbands are on the "down low." These men consider themselves heterosexual, but secretly have gay sex on the side. Not because they're gay, though -- heaven forbid. And their wives are unaware -- perfect targets for the AIDS virus.

If elected President, Obama's use of the bully pulpit will be a tremendous boost in AIDS education, and will help break down the doors of denial. One more good reason to support him.

6. Previous smear site against Ted Strickland by Blackwell backers 'Christians for Social Justice'
Truth <> About Ted Strickland: http://www.truthaboutted.com

Bogus Group Backs Anti-Strickland Website
Submitted by bryan on Thu, 09/07/2006 - 1:46pm.
(Hat-tip to the right-wing-nut-jobs at RABid)

First it was Common Sense Ohio/Common Sense 2006/Latest-Attempt-by-the-Chamber-of-Commerce-to-Break-the-Law. Now Blackwell backers have started a bogus group, Christians for Social Justice, to back a, well, biased anti-Strickland website called http://www.truthaboutted.com/.

Lets see. The name is bogus. Christians for Social Justice is not registered with the Ohio Secretary of State as a non-profit, for-profit, PAC, PCE, church, or electioneering entity. And even Ken Blackwell knows that one cant legally operate a non-profit or actively seek donations without filing the proper paperwork.

The group even gives a phony phone number on its contact page -- the number, in fact, for the National Organization for Women, Columbus Chapter.

It does, however, have interesting friends. The address for the organization, PO Box 360503, Columbus, OH 43236, is shared by Center for Bio Ethical Reform (CBR) Midwest, Reform America, Project Restore Justice, Restore the Ten, Genocide Awareness Project, Reproductive "Choice" Campaign, and Mark Harrington Live.

The nexus in all of this junk is anti-abortion, anti-science activist Mark Harrington.

Given the track record of other Blackwell backers, it shouldn't be a surprise that this latest attack is from a bogus group with a phony phone number and links to radical right-wing activists. What will be a surprise is if the Secretary of State lifts a finger to enforce the law this time.

9. knowing these freaks are worried
Makes me like Obama even more. He's the only candidate I can get excited about so far.

Fundies come in all colors. These people manufacture their own reality and live in a constant state of blame and judgment and denial. It's equal opportunity stupidity.

Another was saying why would anybody vote for him with a name like that. It doesn't matter who it is, all republicans have is smear and they love to do it.
