A moment in the Simpsons movie that perfectly crystallizes the Dems' spinelessness

It's the part where Milhouse tries show off his knowledge of global warming to impress Lisa, and Nelson threatens him.

Nelson tells Milhouse "Say global warming is a myth or I'll punch you"

Milhouse: "It's a myth, evidence is inconclusive"

Nelson punches him in the arm anyway and says, "That's for selling out your beliefs"

(I'm paraphrasing this whole scene)

Anyway, I thought it was brilliant. In 10 seconds, the Simpsons writers totally sum up the Democrats' spinelessness, and the state of American politics today. Brilliant!
