Flashback: Aug. 6, 2001
Flashback: Aug. 6, 2001.Six years ago today, President Bush received a classified intelligence briefing that warned bin Laden was determined to strike inside the U.S. Bush was described as being “carefree” on the day he received the briefing at his Crawford ranch in Aug. 2001. Condoleezza Rice later dismissed the urgency of the briefing, claiming it was “not a warning” but rather an “historical memo.”

1. Don't forget
The Taliban offered to hand Bin Laden to us on a silver platter before 9/11. If he really was behind it all, that would have been it.

Apparently he just wasn't that important.

3. The FBI's website - Bin Laden NOT WANTED for the 9/11 attacks
If you check their Most Wanted page you'll see that they are not seeking him for 9/11, but for previous terror attacks.

The FBI has said that it has no hard evidence linking Bin Laden to the attacks on 9/11.

That's a real surprise to many people, particularly after what we did in Afghanistan ostensibly looking for him.

6. Maybe there's no Osama Bin Laden
And they just keep showing us a picture of a guy with a long beard who works at the local Kinko's.
