I've got some suggestions -- including efforts to counteract the local RW media which hounds Blue Dog Democrats in their districts -- but I'd first like to read some of yours'.

3. We voted for CHANGE
so far, the only thing that has changed is the (R) to a (D) behind the names... still have the same rubberstamping going on...

Maybe they should spend their vacations getting a spine transplant

7. I didn't know the Democrats supported totalitarianism and the occupation of Iraq
Edited on Mon Aug-06-07 11:33 AM by TechBear_Seattle
Looking at Congress, one would think such was the case. And silly thought those were Republick agenda items.

6. do you remember .we thought we'd never take the senate?
we were pretty sure about the house.but the senate?.....no...we didn't think it possible in 06.

we have only been in power 6 months. change takes time.......and everything the Congress does come out with .bush threatened to veto..we have yet to get a veto proof majority.......

thats my reasoning for what its worth.

21. We more or less know where they try to steal -- we learned
the hard way. Election protection has to be ramped up in 08!

The ER forum tried to watch vulnerable districts in the midterms and with some success, too. This is one place where we can make a difference!

13. We should challenge where we can.
It's not going to be possible everywhere though. We need to interest democrats in running some new challenges IMO.

20. I think we should also help the Blue Dogs
Apparently, the local RW talk show idiots hold a disproportionate amount of influence in Blue Dog districts. There's gotta be a way to nullify that influence.

26. House Needs to Pass H.R. 676
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HR676

They do that and even if it gets a veto I will take all the bad things I said about them back forever :-). Well, at least if they keep fighting for it.

It would send the message to the American people that the Dem's are going to fight for Health Care and not just for profits, like the other side.

Now hopefully Pelosi and Reid will remember who FDR was, and get back to New Deal-type basics.
