After being criticized for calling for the execution of Michael Vick for fighting and torturing dogs, I have been thinking this matter over. I've arrived a couple of conclusions.
Vick is very popular with his peers in pro football. So perhaps we need to take some of his dog motivational methods and transfer them to the NFL.
For instance if a NFL player causes a fumble that results in his team losing, he should be taken to the shower, wet down and then electrocuted. If it helps to improve the performance of a bunch of dogs, surely it would help a bunch of football players.
I'm not sure just what all Vick did to his dogs to improve their performance. But one method I'd avoid with football players would be slinging them against a brick wall at the end of a 10 foot chain. It would make the locker room very messy. Instead, we may consider cutting one of the balls off any receiver who drops a pass and sewing it to his jersey. It would sort of serve as a reminder.
I'm sure there are many other things we could initiate that would make the game much more enjoybable for us all.
These motivational methods would also serve to create many new openings on each team and drive the starting NFL pay down to the minimum wage level where it belongs.
Just a thought ...
