1. this BS, also, re: The Iraq War:
"How did we all get talked into it?"

Uh, Tweety? I didn't get 'talked into it'. None of the protesters around the world at the time were 'talked into it'. Only these MSMers were 'talked into it'.

3. Yes, I heard it too. In fact, I asked my S.O. "did he just say what I think he said?"
S.O. confirmed that he'd heard the same thing.

4. He declared on his program that he voted for W in 2000
This was quite some time ago. He told Frank Luntz the Republican pollster during an interview on Hardball.

7. So I can finally win this war with my mother who insists he's
a Democrat and I keep telling her he may call himself one, but that doesn't make him one.

8. He plays both sides of the fence for ratings;
remember it's ALL about ratings. But also remember that his brother ran with Lynn Swann on the Re pub ticket in Pa. for Governor/ Lt Gov.. That should be a hint.

9. yes - it was pretty eye opening. he referred to himself and Barnicle
something like "people like us who've become active Republicanns." There's bunch of these Catholic former Dems Russert, Matthews, Barnicle, Cokie Roberts -n who have gone GOP and it sounds like Chris and Barnicle have talked about it privately judging by the fact that Barnicle didn't bat an eyelash when Tweety said it.
