Goose City Bomb-- Loud -- Like A Firecracker - Ha Ha Ha
Now we are supposed to be scared of firecrackers?

S.C. bomb techs explode suspicious item

By BRUCE SMITH, Associated Press Writer
2 hours, 17 minutes ago

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. - Two men were detained after police found a suspicious item in their car during a routine traffic stop for speeding near Charleston, authorities said Sunday.

Berkeley County sheriff's Lt. Vince Lombard said the men were being held pending a charge of unlawful possession of an explosive device.

Lombard would not say what the device was or what it was that bomb technicians from neighboring Charleston County exploded at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

The item made a loud bang, similar to a firecracker, when it was demolished, authorities said.

2. SC is a great state to buy fireworks in, although they don't have the small bottlerockets
you know, the ones that are only a little larger than "black cats"? You have to buy the BIG bottlerockets in South Carolina-I suspect that law was written and purchased by the fireworks stores themselves. Tennessee still has the small bottlerockets, I believe. Maybe these guys had just been to Tennessee? Doesn't sound like they had any heavy South Carolina ordnance.
