I haven't seen any newspaper that declare in big bold letters that "THE SURGE IS WORKING".

Whatever the case, this guy needs to be a bit more careful with his smugness. Here's two others cartoons he drew for June 13, 2006 and February 1, 2005, respectively.

7. Wow. He's not only wrong, he's just not very good. Hope he's not employed.

I love a good cartoon even when it blasts my side. These are just mundane, simplistic, and self-absorbed. No understanding of satire at all.

I hope this is some blogger, and not someone making a living at this. Reminds me of the saying "A culture that values mediocre poets over good plumbers gets neither good poets nor good plumbers." Calling these cartoons mediocre, though, is a bit too generous.
