A story. Once upon a time there was a spoiled, stupid brat who was given the presidency.
Edited on Sat Aug-04-07 09:36 AM by NRaleighLiberal
His dad was a shady character wrapped up in a fuzzy, diffuse harmless looking package. His mom was an ogre who enabled a family of spoiled, miserable brats - but they had money, and influece.

Well, this spoiled, stupid brat attracted all sorts of unsavory types, once he was given the presidency. Some odd things happened over the years - a national tragedy that to this day has so many unanswered questions, and during which our spoiled, stupid brat president acted very oddly. For some strange reason, most of the people, following that tragedy, decided that this spoiled, stupid man would be a fun guy to have a beer with.

Then something happened - it became clearer and clearer how spoiled and stupid this man was, and people started flip flopping away from him. He decided to play war, but it wasn't a game, and he got us into a situation that we should never have found ourselves in. The shady enablers he surrounded himself with had this grand plan, and our stupid spoiled president decided that it was a good plan. It wasn't.

Even after he was handed a second shot at playing president, things got worse. More and more people became embarrassed at what a spoiled and stupid brat he was. The supposed good guys actually did well in a key election and appeared to be able to gain some parental control over the stupid, spoiled man.

But an odd thing happened - when the stupid, spoiled brat stamped his feet, the good guys, for some strange reason, decided that he had to get his way. They enabled him just as much as his fuzzy dad and ogre mom. Even though the stupid, spoiled brat had less popularity than some serious diseases, no one had the will to challenge him. And it became hard to see how things were ever going to get better. It became hard to see how we could put an end to the needless deaths of our fine brave servicefolk in the ill conceived, possibly illegal war.

How could such a spoiled, stupid brat cause so much harm to the country and the world.

We don't yet know if this story will have a happy ending. At this point, it is hard to be optimistic.

The end.

1. You left out this part -
The spolied stupid brat had a "magic powder" called "anthrax" which he sent to all the mean people who were saying bad stuff about him in the newspapers and on the TV. When the mean people touched the "magic powder" they weren't mean anymore.

They were just dead.
