3. I just heard one proposal that would bring the AG bill back from the

Senate and insert the amendment that they believe should be in it. I'm not positive, but I would THINK that would mean the Senate would have to vote on it AGAIN!

Like I said last night, if this continues there won't BE any recess vacation!!!!! Maybe that's a good thing huh?

4. Deliberate Tactic...

The Repugnicans feel "energized"...but this is a ploy to distract the focus of the House and the Democrats. This is pandering to the GOOP base to energize cash and votes in the upcoming primaries. This is where the soundbites that appear on the campaign literature or on the TV commercials get produced. This is more an internal GOOP desperation tactic than anything else. Many sitting on that side know they face a tough '08, but they need the RNC, RNCC and other right wing cash for next year...and to avoid any right wing challenges. Yep, they're hanging together, cause that's all they can do.

The pressure is mounting on the Repugnicans and I see their antics as digging their graves deeper as this is just delaying the reality many fear in next year's election.

The clock ticks on the GOOP...they're trying as hard as they can to make Democrats look bad by not passing legislation...or bottling it up in the Senate and then attempt to play to the polls saying how bad people feel about the job Congress is doing.
