CREW's Latest Report reveals 25 Most Corrupt Members of the Bush Administration
Today, CREW released a new report, "Criminals and Scoundrels: The 25 Most Corrupt Members of the Bush Administration." The full report with exhibits can be found here.

CREW found and documented more than more than 160 cases of misconduct over the last six years and then narrowed the list based on type of offense, the official’s level of responsibility and the impact on the public trust. The majority of the officials in the report have been convicted of crimes, are currently under criminal investigation, or are being investigated by the inspector generals of their respective agencies.

The 25 Most Corrupt Members of the Bush Administration are (alpha order):

Claude Allen, White House

Eric Andell, U.S. Department of Education

Margaret Burnette, Food and Drug Administration

Lester Crawford, Food and Drug Administration

Lurita Doan, General Services Administration

Brian Doyle, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Darleen Druyun, U.S. Air Force

Frank Figueroa, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, Central Intelligence Agency

2. There is no such thing as a corrupt Republican
the term "corrupt" implies there was something good and decent to be corrupted in the first place

15. well at least we all know who they are, some I'd never heard of..

and when they start bringing them to trial (hoping!), they have a good starting list!

And tom_paine, may I say I LOVE that candidate design of Gore/Clark, it's my fave I've made and if we can get them to run, I am certain America's principles will be restored. The 30 min. video I edited of Wes Clark down to 7 powerful information filled minutes at the Iowa Democratic county function, made me feel so aligned to him and hopeful that he and Gore will bring back grace to Washington.

The b*sh corruption is so rampant and disturbingly deep that sometimes I can't even keep up with their lastest disgusting act! For now, I support John if the other 2 aren't running in '08, because I know he cares about the forgotten people in America.

6. Libby and Rove were not on the list because CREW is...
...prohibited by Judge Walton from discussing anyone connected with the Leak Case.

You may well ask, "Why the Hell isn't Shooter or the Chimp on the list?" Well, CREW is focussing on non-elected, non-cabinet officials, so not only are Bushie and Darth out, but also Rice, Abu Gonzales, etc.

7. Color me shocked! Absolutely SHOCKED!
Janet Rehnquist, daughter of the late Chief Justice is on the list.
Roger Stillwell is on the list.
A guy nicknamed "Dusty" is on the list.

It must have been tough for CREW to whittle the number down to 25.
In an administration this rife with scandal and corruption this must be the Bush-Mafia inner-circle.

9. I know some of you might be thinking that without Cheney...
...on the list the list is worthless, but you shouldn't view it that way. The purpose of the list is to show that corruption permeates not just the highest step on the Bush Administration ladder, but is also found amidst those whose task is to implement the Chimp's idiotic policies.

I hope that Melanie Sloan gets as much time on other Air America shows as she did on Al Franken. Now that Al's show is going off the air, I am really going to miss all of these great people I met on his show.

Claude Allen, making off with electronics from Target while on the White
House payroll. Haarrrruumpph!

Petty compared to the real BFEE.

CREW obviously cheaps out on the real crooks. :)

Everything from petty grifters to sexual perverts to federally prosecutable thieves, extortionists and corporate bottom feeders.

Good representation of the whole Bush Christmas card list.

19. I guess this is an old list. A couple of these people have
already been tried, convicted and sentenced. In any case, these people are the low hanging fruit. It goes all the way to the top.

20. MUCH More corrupt than the Clinton Administration!!!
Not one Clinton aide was ever indicted or convicted of ANY crime while in office (The Sandy Berger thing happened in 2002)
Why doesn't the media ever put THAT out??

23. The media was too busy reporting
who Clinton gave pardons to and who slept in the Lincoln Bedroom. Then there were the stories that turned out to be hoaxes that the media fell for -- the planes kept waiting on the runway so he could get a $200 haircut, the "w's" missing from all the computer keyboards and the offices trashed when he left office, etc. Not to mention of course the 24/7 coverage to Monica. This was after all very important.
:sarcasm:

Somehow I don't think the mainstream media will be interested in this list, though.
