Thinking ourselves into enabling more war: tax and draft

I am always amazed at DUers who Ranglize their brains into supporting enabling more war as a way of causing such pain that (they think) the current war crime will come to an end.

Earlier we had the spectacle of wide support here for bringing back the draft, and thus a steady supply of meat for the war machine, on the theory that this would be egalitarian (share the horror) and would (eventually, but that part gets ignored) cause such widespread upset that surely our representatives would actually do something to end the current carnage.

Now the same theory is back with folks standing up to support Lieberman (Asshat Connecticut) and his war tax proposal. A war tax funds war. It is a war enabler. Get a damn clue.

The way to end the war is for congress to cut the funding for the war, not for congress to finance the current funding.
