19. Which is more offensive: The Snickers ad or the notion it wasn't incredibly offensive?
Funny how everyone whipped themselves into a lather over Biden's "articulate" gaffe, but we're supposed to shrug our shoulders and be all happy and content just because Mars Inc. pulled the ad off the web? If calling Obama "articulate" is supposed to remain offensive looong after the comment was made, why wouldn't the violent alternative endings to the Snickers commercial as well as the commercial itself still be as offensive as the day they were revealed?

Double standard, methinks.

if a number of folks have the poll-poster on ignore? Wouldn't that skew the sampling audience? Hadn't occured to me before.

Do not post "flame bait" discussion topics. While there is no clear line regarding what constitutes flame bait, the moderators have the authority to shut down threads which they consider too rhetorically hot, too divisive, too extreme, or too inflammatory. Please use good judgment when starting threads; inflammatory rhetoric does not normally lead to productive discussion.

Do not start a new topic in order to continue a flame war from another discussion thread.
