"Iraq will likely fall into a humanitarian crisis and a full blown civil war"
I just heard Sen. Thune say that in the US Senate.

I heard lots of people saying that 4 years ago.

We told you all this was going to happen. Don't use it as an excuse now.

3. True
like I said we called this before it happened.

We watched Edwards on Meet the Press on TiVo last night.

Aside from a critique of Edwards and the audacity Russert has for even showing his face on TV anymore given what we know from the Libby trial there was a great quote from Barrack Obama when he was an Illinois state Senator.

He was 100% correct. He called it just like we did here. No threat. No weapons. No nukes. A bad idea. Most likely to become a complete disaster.

It made me remember what we knew before this whole mess got started. I am currently reading "Fiasc"I highly recommend it. The complete disaster that this became is directly the result of the neo-cons and horrible military leadership.

2. EVERYONE in DC knew Iraq was in Civil War by early 2006. That was the motivating force behind the
Kerry-Feingold withdrawal vote last June. EVERYONE knew - 13 voted for withdrawal plan.
