Wi. Supreme Court Sets Precedent Of Putting A Judge On The Court Who Is Under Investigation:

annette ziegler is a radical freak. I hate that they use the term "conservative." The last thing she is is "conservative." In another article I read, this might be a first in this country, where a SC judge is under investigation for serious ethical violations, and gets put on the court.

" . . . Ziegler, who won election to a 10-year term in April, will take the oath Wednesday in her Washington County courtroom, about 40 miles north of Milwaukee. It is possible conflicts of interest in that courtroom that could make her first months on the high court awkward.

“She’s going to take a seat on the Supreme Court with an ethical cloud hanging over her and the whole court is going to be in a very uncomfortable position,” said Mike McCabe, director of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, the watchdog group that filed a complaint against Ziegler, prompting the probe.

James Alexander, the commission’s executive director, said the state Supreme Court has never disciplined one of its own members, nor has a justice joined the court amid an ongoing investigation. Such an event also appears virtually unprecedented nationally.

1. Folks, This Appears To Be UNPRECEDENTED Nationally
It could come to your state.

4. Well, If This Is UNPRECEDENTED Nationally,
then did the other 49 states violate the Constitution (innocent until proven guilty)? Evidently there were other cases similar to this one, but this one was "more serious." Actually, it's not a matter of "innocent until proven guilty," but more of an ethical question, where a state supreme court judge is being put on the bench amid an ethics investigation, and mat be UNPRECEDENTED. Makes me wonder if they're trying to set a precedent here.
Think I'm gonna send this to Buzzflash.

3. A ten year term for a Judge that shows she has problems with
ethics. Man this isn't good for those of us in Wisconsin surviving the Georgia Thomson scandle. Another unprecdented event. All politically driven.
