LTTE I sent in today
The call by many in our nation to stop funding for the war in Iraq is not without precedent. In 1973 congress set a date to cut off funding for combat activities in Vietnam and then in 1998 Congress passed spending legislation that prevented US Troops from serving in Bosnia unless the President made certain assurances.

I ask our local representatives Neal and Olver to introduce legislation that would cut off funding for this misguided war in 6 months time. That gives the President time to properly train the Iraqi military and have meaningful dialog with Iran and Syria to help broker a lasting peace in the region
