Is anybody else sick and tired of the war on terror?
I am like ten times more scared of the war on terror than terror. Terror is like last on my list of worries. I am far more worried about being shot by some lunatic with a gun while shopping for some items at the 7-11. I am more worried about a bridge collapsing, some drunk driver smashing into me, hell I am more worried about being struck by a meteorite than killed by a terrorist.

I am sick of this war on terror.

I want it over.

2. The Bush Crime Family scares me a hell of a lot more than the terrorists do.

3. Ending it (like the 'war on drugs') would end the highly profitable careers of many
who depend on it going on forever. I am not kidding.

4. but look how well it's working!!!
there hasn't been any terrorist attacks on our soil since the inception of the Homeland Security Department, and you're not even a little bit scared of terrorists or a terror attack- THAT'S a testament to just how WELL the war on terra is being waged.

and you just want to throw in the towel???

do you realize what such a rash and dangerous action could do to halliburton's share price?

:patriot:

7. I'm 60 fucking years old and my entire life...
has been "warring" against Communists, druge dealers, terrorists, the French, and who knows what else.

One of my dying wishes would be to see the day when we don't need an "enemy" any more.

8. One of the travel websites offers a "Terra Pass" when you book and I thought...
OMIGOD... but they poorly played on the whole 'eco' thing and were trying to get the point across about being 'earth' (terra) friendly, I suppose, but all I could think of is * and his ilk squawking TERRA TERRA TERRA!

9. It doesn't exist.
If someone, one person was willing to kill themselves in the process of bombing something like the Liberty Bell, etc., it would throw the whole country into a panic for weeks.

The fact is that, if there was this "army" of such men out there, waiting to strike, they've had a LOT of opportunities and reasons to act.

But they haven't. They haven't because they don't exist. Maybe there were those willing to die on 9/11, and maybe a HANDFUL of others...

But a WAR on terror? Give me a break.
