Lawyer Anyone??
Does anyone else think that it was the road work going on, which DIRECTLY resulted in this bridge collapse?

Do you think that the city, or whomever was responsible for this work taking place DURING RUSH HOUR, will be held accountable?

I believe they will do Everything possible to cover their Asses, and make this look like an "accident."

Nothing to see here, move along!

1. Hasty conclusion.
A strong case requires more evidence than what we're working with so far.

2. There WILL be lawsuits, however...
Count on it.

3. It takes a long time, months at least, to figure out what causes
a structural collapse like this. I will say, however, that since the Republican governor of this state took office and went on a frenzy of tax-cutting, our infrastructure has been steadily disintegrating. This used to be one of the best, cleanest, most well-maintained states in the country. Now the roads are full of potholes and the schools are crumbling. You get what you pay for. Whether this bridge collapse can be attributed directly to neglect due to lack of funds remains to be seen. But I wouldn't be surprised...

4. Way to premature for any legalities yet... I expect that the truth will come out sooner rather
than later, and at that time I'm sure that litigation will be front and center...
