What is a reasonable period of time to wait for, say, basic civil rights?

3. Any waiting time is too damned long
Especially with regards to rights acknowledged by the United States Supreme Court as "one of the basic civil rights of man."

See Loving v Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967).

6. They're specified in the Constitution....
just denied to certain groups. I'm sure its all just a mistake.

11. Thank you...I haven't been out in years
due to military moves, etc. This year, my wife is damn near forcing me to take some "me" time.
