16. I loved how she was carping about all the manufacturing jobs
that have disappeared in North Carolina. Excuse me, Liddy dear, what have you done to stop the idiotic trade agreements we've entered into? The woman drives me nuts.

9. Yes, poor people should be aided in their purchase of tobacco.
That's pretty much what the tobacco companies want, isn't it?

11. Damn RIGHT.. I am a citizen of this country,. I pay taxes. I AM entitled
to certain things.
This is a RICH country, and we ARE entitled to some basic rights here..

It's hard to have Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness when you are sick, unemployed, homeless and hungry.

I see our elected leaders living lives of ENTITLEMENT,... why not the people who PAY them?

These idiots are handing out free campaign commercials for the Dems, lets hope they don't go to waste.

22. I think denying poor kids health care is a logical first step in correcting
our tendency to spoil and overindulge. After that, it's on to eliminating the reduced/free school lunch program--why should these little parasites get a hot lunch? It'll just make them soft and pampered.

15. Why, we can't have entitled children in this country.
Give them healthcare, and next thing they'd expect adequate food, too.

And after that, they might expect not to be left behind in education.

21. IMO McConnell's alternative 'Kids First' Bill wd better be called the 'Tobacco First' Bill
Does the Tobacco Institute still exist? Who really wrote the bill McConnell introduced?

You know a bill can't be very good when Orrin Hatch stands with most Democrats against it, and the bill would cancel months of bipartisan compromises.
