DLC's "National Conversation"
This weekend in Tennessee.

http://www.dlc.org/ndol_ci.cfm?kaid=126&subid=166&contentid=254351

Bill Clinton is going to speak Monday.

http://www.dlc.org/ndol_ci.cfm?kaid=85&subid=108&contentid=254400

Maybe they're going to discuss these extraordinarily bold ideas like letting the market lower prescription drug costs or extending the school day to fix our education problems.

Somebody on the Leadership Team is going to be missing, hmmmm. How can they have a "National Conversation" without her??

1. I wonder why the republican party doesn't have an equivalent
group that is more left leaning? We live in strange times.

6. Christie Todd Whitman
She started "It's My Party Too", which is supposed to be a moderate wing. But she supports everything Bush does, so I don't know why it exists. I signed up to get emails so I could keep track of her, I posted a few rebuttals in 2006. I haven't gotten an email in ages and ages. I think she's got her hands full with some problem or other, hehe.

8. She's been dirty from day 1. That was a good idea but
too late to implement with her history.

5. At the risk of being an apostate, I've never understood
how you can have a self appointed DEMOCRATIC leadership council?

11. Only Bill
None of the candidates are going. Not even the one on the leadership team. With bold initiatives like extending the school day to address the education problem, it's no wonder they've become irrelevant.
