Went out and bought a twelver or Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer today

For old time sakes (and because it was the cheapest brew in the store)

So, way back when, it was the symbol of our oppression

We were gettin some weed and acid and stuff
and we were all worried about getting drafted and stuff

and these guys that wore white sox and crew cuts were out to either bust our jaws
or get us busted
and that song was written for them

and "Purple Haze" was written for us

So now, instead of those guys
There's Dittoheads, InsHannity freaks and O'liely loons.

So, I think we were better off
