So the Snickers commercial is pulled after two days
and yet, Rush Limbaugh is still broadcast on over 500 radio stations and Armed Forces Radio (AFR). By the way, your and my tax dollars pay for AFR.

So let's reflect.

- There is so much outrage about a stupid commercial about a "frickin" candy bar, that the spot only lasts for two days before the company pulls it. Makes me wonder when the CEO of Mars CO. will enter rehab, but I digress.

- Rush Limbaugh on over 500 radio stations and Armed Forces Radio:

- Opines "The governments been taking care of young blacks their whole lives"

- Repeatedly calls Barrack Obama a "Halfrican"

http://mediamatters.org/items/200701240010

- Tells an African American caller to "Get that bone out of your nose and call me back".

http://mediamatters.org/items/200509230009

- Said of Jesse Jackson, "Kerry finally got a chocolate chip"

http://mediamatters.org/items/200409300008

- Says of the NBA: "Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association ... They're going in to watch the Crips and the Bloods"

-----I guess I could go on and on, but these examples of racism are out there for all to see, including the CEO's of companies that advertise on Rush' show and the Department of Defense who continues to insist his show be broadcast on Armed Forces Radio. The excuse I've heard from DOD is that his show is popular and troops have requested it. I urge the DOD to ask all the "Halfrican's" serving in the military if they agree. It's a bogus argument anyway. If you polled the troops, I'm sure a majority would like to have the Playboy channel as well, but that isn't going to happen, but again, I digress.

I'm sick and tired of hearing "there is nothing we can do about Limbaugh, so we might as well not even try". If organized outrage can cause a company to pull a stupid candy bar commercial, then couldn't concentrated outrage cause advertiser to pull their support for this racist piece of shit?

I ask you, what does more harm to our country. A frickin' 30 second commercial, or 15 hours a week of a lying, drug addicted, hate-mongering bigot?

I think our priorities are fucked up!
