6. It's like trying to find the most appealling chunker in a pool of vomit. Gross. Nasty
Ashes in my mouth with just a hint of motor oil kind of gross. Thanks for that filthy mental romp through the garden of traitors, fanatics, and brain-damaged Philosoraptor. No, really , thanks...:sarcasm: ;)

11. In a recent poll of Republicans on their candidates....
"None of the above" was their candidate of choice. Too funny.

...though they might prefer General Franco, even though he's still been dead longer than Pinochet...

13. Romney leads in Iowa and New Hampshire and is flush with dough.
Kind of by default, I guess it's Romney.

The GOP is in miserable condition politically. They should turn to someone like John Danforth for their nominee, but the fact that Danforth would lose a GOP primary owing to the nutbag, far-right, fundie base is indicative of why the GOP is in miserable condition.

Danforth is essentialy a conservative guy. He's a minister. But he's a sentient being. His placement on the ideological scale would ensure that the fundie base would seek to destroy any chance he had at a primary win.

When the extreme and unchallenged are running the base of your party, you're party's going down.

14. Romney wins the GOP Iowa caucus, but Brownback steals some of the
zing with an impressive second-place finish.

I'm thinking Huckabee is out before mid-September, if he lasts that long.
