UFW, supporters to protest Wasco Housing Authority's mass eviction

BAKERSFIELD - Farm workers and supporters will take their case against housing authority evictions to the Wasco City Council in force Tuesday night.

The group is protesting evictions of undocumented immigrants.

With potential evictions in the works for farm workers who can't prove their legal status, the United Farm Workers Union and others are taking the issue to the Wasco City Council.

The UFW and friends are not taking the possible evictions that face farm workers who don't have legal status easily.

They've decided to protest any potential evictions to the city council.
