So, the Clinton vs Obama with the black vote may be a red herring
according to this story, complete with Jesse Jackson's support, it seems that Barack Obama is not really having that hard a time with the black vote. Clinton has the name recognition right now which accounts for the polling among blacks but, Charlie Rangel says she doesn't have a lock.

the full story is here

1. I think
people should vote with their hearts not because the candidate is black or white or whatever. Most importantly they should look at each candidate to see if they mean what they say or just trying to blow smoke up everyones ass.

5. Really. You don't hear people talking about the "white vote."..
I'm so sick of hearing about the "black vote" I could scream.

2. The press is going to try to convince of us of every kind
of story they can in the next year or so. They will tell us that Hilary won't get the women votes because women don't like other women. Barack won't get the black vote or the white vote for opposite reasons. Clark, if he runs, will be too military for te liberals. Kucinich is too liberal for the liberals. Edwards is too something for someone. and etc. What is all comes down to is that people will vote for the candidate that they like, who ever that candidate is and who ever that voter may be.

Hey, Illinoisprogressive, did you get the email from "Act for Change" about the act that Obama was involved in introducing today?
