MSNBC reporting that the ATC in Houston has been evacuated because of smoke.
Not clear if the mean the ground control center/tower for GHWB International or if they mean Houston Center.

I'm thinking that we're going to see more of this. The ATC system is decrepit. Reagan killed PATCO but never funded the system. We were WAY better off with PATCO. I think this sort of quick trigger evacuation over the "possible electrical smell" in a closed space will be the now-non-union traffic controllers to exercise some control and bring attention to their plight.
I sympathize with them.
