Great Understatement on MSNBC!!!
A riotous laff for all!!!

At the arraignment for Michael Vick, the crowd was chanting something across the street. The Newsbunny said to her control room: Wait..I want to hear what they're chanting.

then, loud and clear came:

VICK IS SHIT!
VICK IS SHIT!
VICK IS SHIT!

the newsbunny then said, "Michael Vick has clearly lost some of his popularity"

Isn't this the best!!?

2. Should we notify the FCC
I don't think you should be able to hear "shit" on TV. There could be children listening.

6. Holy shit! The children could hear that shit!
I imagine they'll survive. Besides, how many kids are watching MSNBC?

14. This was a major story line on the late "Studio 60"
There was a live interview with a soldier in Iraq and he used the language commonly used by soldiers.. and they got into trouble with the FCC because they would not edit it out.

In more serious matters, I agree with the nomination of "Understatement of the Year."

7. The MSNBC reporter just said that Vick "shuck and jive on the field"
Isn't that a racially insensitive remark?

The guy is despicable if the allegations are true but I think

that remark is questionable

11. Really...
which announcer said that?

Just unbelievable...

I'm so glad I have this on in my dental office...that is...private office...all day. It can really get exciting at times.

I'm referring of course to the incompetence of the MSNBC/CNN staff, not the news.

15. What about a former KKK "exalted cyclops" calling him 'barbaric' repeatedly?
I thought that was kinda unfortunate too.

21. Pretty funny prank...
"Ooops, my bad!"
I bet they just love to do that around MSNBC...they're a prank-filled crowd, probably really pissed at the salary differential btween the on-air 'talent' (and I use that word in every sense) and the control-room folk.

22. Reminds me of long-ago Boston Bruins game
Eddie Westfall slid across the ice and savagely crashed his skull into the boards (and this was before helmets).

Looked like the guy should have been decapitated by the violent force.

One of the announcers says, "I think he hit his head, Don."

26. I heard it
:spray:

I couldn't wait to get home after being away from news sources all day to listen to the msm hitting the Gonzo perjury stuff hard. Alas -- there are three news stories that rank higher -- Michael Vick, the stock market losses, and a pretty girl found in a lake.

:banghead:
