The two big, underying crimes that will never get a day in court .....
There have been lots of investigations and lots of crimes and lots of deflection and lots of obfuscation and lots of lies and lots of politics.

Along the way, we've seen underling after overling after outerling after innerling called before Congress.

We've attempts - serious and silly - to get charges leveled or to get more information or to start impeachment.

But at the end of it all, will we EVER see an investigation into what REALLY got us all pissed off to start with.

A stolen presidential election in 2000 and the baldfaced lying us into a war that should never have happened.

I suspect we'll never have such hearings.

Never ever.

1. I agree with you. Outside of this site
I don't think any other Americans have any knowledge at all about the stolen election.

3. I think there's plenty of doubt out there about the 2000 election.
Type the search words "stolen election 2000" into google and you come up with 1,450,000,000 hits. A 2004 Zogby poll found that 38 percent of Americans consider the outcome of that election as "questionable." I don't think there would be any surprise for most Americans if the question were directly presented to them now.

2. power wins
the truth about the coup of 2000 (and the second stolen election in 2004) might expose who really rules this country and might undermine the faith of the sheeple in their potemkin "democracy"

both parties are guilty of allowing the illegal invasion of Iraq that no one will ever investigate (unless we create a successful third party)

5. Yes, that seems to be the
start of this current nightmare. But as many here have pointed out, the gradual slide into fascism started long before that with things such as the war on drugs. (Some would go back to JFK, some to the establishment of the CIA, others all the way back to the establishment of the income tax in 1916--or the invasion of the Phillipines)

The 2000 election was definitely another turning point. I wish we would have a real investigation of that along with a full investigation of 9-11.
