3. The "old news" comment struck me as another way to say

"just get over it". They just want to trivialize this matter and hope it goes away. I don't think they will get their wish this time.

And here's a kick. I watched most of the hearings today - they were quite entertaining. Can repukes do ANYTHING but be apologists for people who screw up? They were making me sick, making excuses for Bremer, who gratefully accepted all of them.

Bowen, as an administration appointee surprised me - he seemed pretty honest, and didn't make excuses.

Dave - I just finished reading a book called "Blood Money" in which a lot of this is covered. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it.
