Freeperville is in meltdown.and isn't sweet
Edited on Tue Feb-06-07 08:08 PM by Danmack
The split up of the republican party is finally at hand. Life is good..

Freeperville is melting

Maybe we will finally get religion out of politics…

Social conservatives vs. pragmatic, not so social conservatives who know they must win in 2008.

SoCon’s will not vote for Rudy, all the rest say he’s the greatest thing since white bread and is only one that can win against HC.

Folks, these threads are classic of how they don’t have a clue..

Please remember to take a shower after reading.

1. If Guiliani gets the nomination (which I doubt very much) the hypocrisy
of the GOP will be spelled out in bright neon lights. They foamed at the mouth over Bill Clinton's affair but would be willing to overlook Guiliani's marital transgressions. It will be interesting how they intend to play THAT one.

3. You beat me to it.
People forget the Rudy scandals before 9/11. They will surely come up again if he's nom'd.

4. They'll always overlook repuke transgressions....
how else to explain Gannon, among others.

This is why I have broken away from christianity. Far too much mind-boggling hypocrisy, in virtually every area of concern.

11. They didn't seem to have a problem with Newtie! And that was way
before Rudy's little problemos.

These people are useless trash.

7. SUddenly, those aren't big issues at all
"Indeed, in one recent poll, majorities of Republicans who were informed of Giuliani’s views on social issues said that they were either minor issues or no issues at all; only 16% said that they wouldn't vote for him after being informed of these views.

In the online GOP Bloggers poll, Giuliani is consistently one of the few candidates to end up with a net positive acceptability rating. These internet denizens are well-informed, and overwhelmingly self-describe as conservative (78% self-describe as 7 or higher on a 10-scale of conservatism). If these people can support Rudy, anyone can."

Oh my god these people crack me up! Bring it on, Rudy!

10. Hillary currently beats McCain and Giuliani in every major poll.
Right now, the Republicans would lose no matter who they nominate, as long as they were running against Hillary. It's the best reason I can think of to nominate her. Okay, it's the only reason...

8. Rudy Giuliani as President?? Never.
The Rethugs have not only dug their own grave, but their chancellor continues to do exactly what the people (and the world) does not want him to do. With his defiance, tyranny and Treason Chancellor* continues to drag his party through the gutters. I dont give shit about them, let them all sufficate by their own hand and when Obama is President he better charge these dipshits with War Crimes and have each and every last one of them prosecuted.

I want them to go back to the 2000 election, there are 5 Justices who needed to be put on trial for intervening with the recount which handed over the presidentcy to *. Gore won that election, the Flordia recount was halted by Scalia and 4 other justices, that action was uncontitutional.
