How does his drinking problem explain the affair? Just how often did he hang out at bars to make it a serious issue. Is it though. Maybe he wanted to hobnob with locals. What's the deal with a drink in a bar...we can do it but he can't? We all might drink but don't go to bed with our best friend's spouse. You could easily say he drank so much he screwed up the Olympics deal and the decision of the 49ers to go elsewhere. Inquiring (burp) drinkers want to know.
