Poll question: If the 22nd Amendment were repealed and Bill Clinton vs. GW Bush in 2008
who do you think would win?

While were at it, what is your opinion of the 22nd amendemnt? I think it should be repealed. I think most people would honor the two term tradition, but I don't believe in term limits. Had it been in effect chances are Eisenhower, Reagan and Clinton could each have won a third term had they chosen to run.

1. The Big Dog put the old man away with dispatch; he'd crush Dubya,
especially given the administration's performance these last 6 years or so.

I voted in your poll for Clinton but I am not interested in a choice between these two people. I'm very interested in a discontinuation of both political lines.

I'd favor 1 six-year term for U.S. presidents.

2. If only republicans were allowed to vote, Bill Clinton would still win
in a landslide!

3. Are you kidding me Bill
would beat chimpy's ass so bad Bill would get 80% or more of the vote.
While I would have loved the ideal of 4 more years of Bill the ideal of 4 more years of Reagan makes me sick,so I guess I support the 22nd Amendment.Though my Grandpa says FDR would have won a 5th term
and that would have been just fine with him.

4. In today's atmosphere, with the most ignorant people in the
country having a penchant for the coronation of Il douche as emperor, I am happy with the 22nd just as it is, thank you. In real, unweighted terms, Bill Clinton was barely an average president. In comparison to the empty headed, vice ridden clods that have aspired to that high office, however, he is a shimmering genius.

7. Big Dawg all the way...
But Bush will just declare martial law and there will be no elections. I think he's setting himself up for it for the last three years.
