Military Exercises in D.C.

For those DU'ers in the D.C. area, this just got E-mailed to federal employees (or at least DoJ employees). Just a heads-up.

"FYI, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will be conducting air defense exercises across the National Capitol Region this week. These exercises are designed to test NORAD's intercept and identification operations, as well as gauge the region's visual warning system. The exercises, which will include Air Force F-16 and C-38 aircraft, and Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopters, will occur throughout the day, including late night and early morning hours."
