C-Span I is running the Blue Dog Dem Caucus(Bush's Budget) now and it's a Good watch!
I've been watching it for awhile and they've done their research and now they are discussing our Oil Dependence with lots of Maps and Charts. Earlier they were discussing who we were borrowing from like Japan, China, Mexico, Korea, OPEC, Carribean Banking, etc., etc.

They will be going on for awhile and they've done their Research!

Kind of interesting to see the Dems break up into Study and Interest Groups within their Caucuses. And they keep flashing their WEBSITE on their Charts and urging folks to go to the website. :D

Here's a little about them:

Excellent! He and nine others went to China and they discussed "Climate Change." He's talking about it now!

2. Gilchrist from Maryland talking about Energy Use and the
triumverant of National Security, Independence and Climate Change/Environment.

They are going at the issue from a more Conservative angle that could appeal to Repugs!

Legacy of Oil to our Environment....now!

5. Oh Well..Maybe we can do DU TEAMS! "House vs Senate!"
when HOT DEBATES OCCUR...I'm still hoping folks who aren't watching Senate will check this out.

I'm on the "Losing Team" I guess.

Thanks for the "Heads Up" on Senate Debate, though. I got hooked to "House" then went over to Matthews for Schuster's report on Fitz...so I missed the Senate.

6. Yeah, I heard these "Blue Dog" Democrats on the radio. They want to cut
everything EXCEPT THE WAR BUDGET. (One of the big "Blue Dog" Democrats early in the Bush Junta was Gary Condit, who voted for the Junta's first tax cut for the rich three days after Chandra Levy disappeared, in a very close vote.) These 40 are no doubt the Diebold/ES&S (s)elected blockade against impeachment, stopping the war, or any benefits to the poor and middle class from stopping the war (if it ever happens). I detest them and their small corporate minds.

What's needed is something visionary, like FDR's New Deal. Not budget cutting. Federal spending--and lots of it! On jobs. On education. On health care. On small farms (organic). On product innovation. And, above all, on global warming initiatives. To stimulate the economy and get it moving in a positive direction--AWAY FROM oil and wars for oil!

This CANNOT be done with a "balanced budget." The Bushites literally loot the federal treasury--and drive up a $10 trillion deficit, with multiple tax cuts for the rich, and a trillion dollar spending spree on an unjust, unnecessary, heinous war, meanwhile permitting the outsourcing of millions and millions of jobs, then the Corporate Democrats come in and take it out of the hides of the poor. This will lead straight to another Great Depression. We need to fight these rightwing ideas tooth and nail. It's Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover all over again. Tighten the budget. Put the squeeze on the poor. Make the rich richer--and all problems will be solved. And things are actually WORSE than they were then, at the same moment--because we are funding, out of our pittance wages, massive corporate and war profiteer WELFARE.

If you're going to squeeze welfare programs, start with Halliburton and Exxon-Mobile--and Diebold/ES&S for that matter (billions of taxpayer money to fiddle our elections)!
