Here it is: ONE CLICK to tell your Reps you want Impeachment.
DO IT AND PASS IT ON! WE'RE GETTING CLOSE!
--------------------------------------------

WE ARE THREE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AWAY FROM IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS

We all know the bad news, which is that the Cheney administration is
determined to commit even more gross and outrageous abuses of power
until finally Congress stands up and confronts them. But the good
news is that the mounting public pressure is having an effect and
John Conyers confided that if three more members of Congress sign on
to the call for impeachment he will initiate proceedings. That's all
they are waiting on . . . for enough of us to speak out to make it
happen.

IMPEACHMENT ACTION PAGE:
http://www.usalone.com/cheney_impeachment.php

Your voice can make a real difference right now, by letting your own
representatives in Congress know that you expect them to do their
constitutional duty and put an end to the crimes of the White House.
And there are so many impeachable crimes, they commit new ones day by
day. To try to hide their wrongdoing they are obstructing justice in
every possible way, ordering their cronies to refuse to testify,
defying Congressional subpoenas, which would be impeachable offenses
standing alone.

The action page above is a voting page, with already over 90,000
submissions. Would it surprise you to know that 99.19 percent of the
vote so far have been Yes to impeach? Unless Congress acts now, we
shudder to think what unimaginable further damage the White House
dictatorship will inflict on our democracy in the next 18 months.
They are desperately clutching power and it is not too far-fetch to
ask if they will stage a terrorist attack (or do NOTHING to stop one)
for the purpose of imposing martial law and gutting our Constitution
altogether.

We have seen an endless stream of executive orders in the last couple
months that purport to grant the president unlimited powers in just
such an event. These orders are so broad and ambiguous that any
disruption anywhere in the world might be used as a pretext for the
Constitutionally unthinkable. They literally presume to write
sweeping legislation in the form of administrative directives, a
further expression of their inherent contempt for the role of
Congress.

The courts will not save us. This was demonstrated again this week
when a loyal Bushie threw out the civil law suit of Valerie Plame
without even a hearing on the merits. There is only one thing that
can save us. Your voice. If and only if YOU will click a mouse one
time to send your vote to Congress on the question of impeachment,
then and only them can we get the additional three members of
Congress to take action, and once the process begins there will be no
stopping it.

Some have asked why take action against Cheney first. It is not just
that he is the least popular, he is also the most guilty. Already a
majority of the American people support his impeachment, by even the
most conservative pollsters. And of course once Cheney impeachment
reaches critical mass, his puppet Bush will be pulled in by the same
trail of evidence. But if you would rather call for both of them to
be impeached at once, there is an action page for that too.

IMPEACH BOTH: http://www.usalone.com/impeach_both.php

Take action now. Raise your voice. Join the hundreds of thousands who
are starting to speak out in this time of great Constitutional peril,
perhaps the most sinister threat our democracy has ever faced.

TELL DENNIS KUCINICH HOW PROUD YOU ARE OF HIM

And please also consider making a donation to Dennis Kucinich,
without whose leadership on the issues none of this might have been
able to happen. He is the one who put forward H.Res. 333 when nobody
else even had the Constitutional integrity to even raise their hand.

KUCINICH DONATIONS: http://www.usalone.com/donations_kucinich.php

Please take action NOW, so we can win all victories that are supposed
to be ours, and forward this message to everyone else you know.

4. Done
My message to Ted Stevens, Lisa Murkowski and Don Young (for all the good it will do):

I realize this is no doubt an exercise in futility making this request to you, but I can no longer stay silent. The violations of the Constitution and international law by this administration are becoming too numerous to count. Please, for once, put party aside and do what's best for America. Our democracy depends on it.

14. Well didn't the courts rule that money is speech?
So in effect you are telling him how proud you are of him! At least that's what the courts say.

18. The notion
that Conyers will impeach if three more congressmen sign on is absurd on its face.

It was a third-hand report, and it simply makes no sense that 17 cosponsors (presumably of the cheney impeachment bill) is the tipping point.

24. regardless, it shows
that he's ready to go, all his ducks are in order, he just wants some more support. Unless the story was fabricated, that's what I read into it.

was mis-heard, or somehow twisted.

It simply doesn't make sense.

23. Lindsey Graham, Jim DeMint, and Bob Inglis (all R-SC) will be getting this message:
Every day brings more horror from Iraq. Every other day brings a new revelation of misdeeds and malfeasance in the Bush administration. Every week brings a new power grab. "The Troubles" have, truly, made their way to the USA .. courtesy of the Bush administration and it's enablers in Congress.
My conservative neighbors in this Augusta Road neighborhood are peeling off their Bush/Cheney stickers. They are looking to me, a Democrat, and asking: "What do we do now?" Most agree that Bush/Cheney have to go. Some agree that it might be time for my party to represent South Carolina again.
I flew over 250 combat missions in a war that tore this country apart: Viet Nam. Iraq is much, much worse. Now, like then, Hosea 8 sums it up: "Sow the wind; reap the whirlwind."
