Need Election Reform Issue Explained?

I had heard yesterday that the election reform effort had died both in the House and the Senate. Can anyone tell me why that is? I'm particulary concerned that it died in the Senate under Feinstein.

Search for election reform forum

I imagine you are talking about the Holt bill being waylaid by Congress so that now it may not come to a head until 2012

Any questions you ask there will get you a great deal of expert help - but do not expect agreement there (just as you will not get agreement anywhere else on DU, unless you hang out a lot in the "People who kill cute kitties are EVVILE!" discussion forum)
