3. More than just an Awwww...
It's an inspiration to see so many baby pandas.

I live in the DC area, and--if they don't negotiate a deal--our baby panda will be going back to China sometime this summer.

They grow up so fast.

Thanks for the video.

5. Ok, could they be any cuter??
Few things in this world could compete on "cuteness" with baby pandas.

10. I have a question about pandas...
Are they really as docile as they seem? Or can they be dangerous? I know wild animals can become threatening when they're hurt or scared, but do pandas generally maintain an even disposition in spite of this?

They seem so cute and cuddly, yet I have the feeling if I hug one and nuzzle it, it'll rip my face off...

11. Beats me. But, I doubt that any of us will have the chance to find out.
But, it would certainly be tempting to do the hug and nuzzle with one of the cubs.

12. Pandas are horrible man-eaters with bad breath and mean tempers.
They are just as cute as hell to look at and when they are young they are just fine, but when they get older...boy...watch out.

They are strong swimmers using their 6 front flippers and strong tail and can leap out of the water upwards of 40 feet in search of prey. They smell bad, spit with the accuracy of a marksman and have nasty, horrible red eyes. They can screech so loud it can break glass from a mile away. They have a fondness for tender bamboo shoots and human fingers as well as the toes of unsuspecting children. "Panda" is actually Mandarin for "Fuzzy smelly finned finger and toe muncher"

If you find yourself in a room alone with one you should shout at the top of your lungs;

CUIDADO!!! PANDAS!!!

Don't ask me how i know this

13. the adults for sure
I used to know a zookeeper at the national zoo. Got to meet Ling-Ling and Shing- Shing through the bars. The male we fed. We stayed away from feeding the female. The keeper told me she would rip you to pieces if she got the chance. Believe me those claws they have are BIG!! But the male was cool. I have a great photo of me feeding him a carrot through the cage. Oh and their fur is not soft. Surprisingly bristly. That is one of my favorite memories.:)

15. They are loners and won't attack unless provoked..usually.
Once, a keeper slipped in an enclosure and was bitten pretty badly, but they are usually docile. I don't think they would be too keen on the nuzzle thing, but I know what you mean. :hi:
