Astronaut love triangle gets much bigger headlines then yesterdays vote.
What a surprise!

Upon quick review of the MSM, only MSNBC deemed yesterday's vote by rethugs to squelch debate on Shrub's escalation, to be worthy of front page news. Did not see any front page mention on CNN, CBS, and ABC (why even look at Faux). Its probably on background somewhere?

Of course, the Astronaut love triangle is the BIG story on all four sites.

Guess we need more sex on The Hill to get some real publicity. :sarcasm:

The will of We The People is being boldly and blatantly ignored by the BushCo regime; we need more of our DEM Senators to take assertiveness training from Russ Feingold. If the rethugs won't allow debate on a symbolic, non-binding vote - its now contingent on Nancy and Harry to front a binding resolution. Willfully ignoring the wishes of the vast majority of the voting public will be remembered in 08. Fine rethugs, keep your obstructionist bullshit going on this tragic war and I'm confident you will dig your political graves so deep, that DEMS will be in the majority long past 08.

Of course, that's assuming anybody out there gets the news?

3. Only Democrats having sex makes the news
Republicans trading hookers for votes at the Watergate hotel barely registers...

Gavin Newsom in SF seems to have made a lot of news for his relationship with a married staffer, however.
