Maybe I am too thin skinned or bias but it seems as time goes along, it conservatism keeps showing through more strongly and he cannot help himself.

Actually laughing about the fact of Plame's lawsuit getting dismissed.

Talking how Santorum was more open and friendly to the people than the so-called progressives who are supposed to be people of the people or something.

Just a lot of cuts seem to be coming out against the dems more and more.

29. People were getting all happy ...
last summer, after the dolt had gotten past the mid terms and Scarboro saw the tides turning, and he stareted opening up on Bushco a bit ... Like he was going to start being an honest broker or something ... I said then, this cat has its colors ...

He may take the occassional easy shot at Bush, but he is a card carrying rethug, and AT BEST will NEVER give Ds any credit, most often do the job of disempowering them ...

30. "Dead Intern" ...you got me looking....
I found an interesting article...

snip>>>

Unbelievably, that was it. The story was simply dropped. A young female employee of one of Florida's Congressmen had died unexpectedly in the Congressman's office. There were no witnesses to her death and the cause of death was not apparent. Klausutis' boss, Joe Scarborough had recently resigned from Congress prematurely and unexpectedly, amid rumors about his marital fidelity and soon after a divorce. He had also abruptly resigned as publisher of the Independent Florida Sun, claiming that resigning from Congress and as publisher was necessary to spend more time with his sons.

...<<<snip

These hosts of "news" shows who get paid to push the GOP's propaganda should be convicted for treason!

MSNBC needed someone in the Imus spot to undermine the dems
again this election cycle, like Imus did last time. Keith Olberman is the only lefty on MSNBC...

18. Too bad Imus didn't call for that in 2004...
back then he acted like Kerry was his best friend to Kerry's face and then stabbed him in the back every day. "I'm probably voting for John Kerry but..." I saw the hack job Imus and his buds did on Kerry. Jack Welch STILL runs MSNBC and NBC, IMHO! From Timmy, Tucker, Joe, Chris, and Pat on every one of their shows vs Keith Olberman...I'd say we are at a slight disadvantage and that's the way Jack and Karl like it.

28. It is pretty apparent ...
That Tucker Carlson can act the way he acts ... I mean, you can tell he doesn't even believe the crape he makes up, he barely can keep from laughing, when he creates some hairbrained way to bash dems ... I mean, he is HORRIBLE, but he knows all he has to do is bash dems and he has a job ...

Earlier in the week, he started off his show by trying to do a hit job on Obama ... He had two other MSM guys, who consistently called him on it and refuted it ... It actually was pretty astounding, he had a list of about 5 retarded reasons to try to bash a speach Obama gave over the weekend, and they called him on all of them and spelled it out ... With each refute he got increasingly more agitated and basically was whinning for them to let him have SOMETHING negative to say about him ... At the end, they did cave and give him something, but the whole exchange pretty much pathetic ...

Vice President Cheney on inauguration day

Don Imus interviews the candidate he once poked fun at— and gets porkchops as a parting gift from the VP

Updated: 4:15 p.m. CT Jan 20, 2005

DON IMUS, HOST: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the “Imus in the Morning” program the vice president of United States, Dick Cheney, and Mrs. Cheney.

Good morning. How are you guys?

(APPLAUSE)

So when they asked us to come down, we thought—we didn’t want to come because we don’t get invited to any parties or anything.

And so we thought, “Well, let’s create a situation where we’ll make a guest request that we can’t possibly get, and then we won’t have to go.” And so we requested you and you, and so here we are.

(LAUGHTER)

RICHARD B. CHENEY, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: It’s, kind of, an awkward moment, isn’t it, Don?

(LAUGHTER)

IMUS: Well, no, I’ve embarrassed myself before, which you may have heard about.

(LAUGHTER)

R. CHENEY: Right. Well, we thought long and hard about it. I mean, we didn’t jump at the chance.

(LAUGHTER)

But, no, I figured if I was ever going to do the show that there would never be a better morning than this to come spend a little time with a man who lost $20,000 voting on our opponent on the day we get sworn in.

(LAUGHTER)

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6847999/page/2/

<snip>IMUS: Do you and the president feel like you got your chain jerked on the weapons of mass destruction? I mean, everybody thought they were there.

R. CHENEY: Well, I think—I’m not quite as sharp in my judgment as others. Clearly, he had no stockpiles, and we were told he did have stockpiles, obviously by our intelligence. But he had a lot of other things. He had the technology, he had the people who’d done it before. If you read the Duelfer report in detail, he kept open labs and the intelligence service that were still doing ongoing research and so forth. And he clearly had the intentions, once sanctions were lifted, that he would go back—be back in business again. So I think all of that has to be calculated and what we had to look at as well too.

6. I commute 3hrs a day...used to tune in talk radio-especially IMUS
in the AM during the drive. I've absolutely turned off any stations that have Scarborouth or others of his ilk, on. What a sleazeball. Voting to end the show with the dial....NOT tuning in. I hope his numbers fail miserably and he's yanked. Dan Abrams' judgement is certainly questionable.

11. Not to be Fristian...
but...

He's clearly a got a manic personality at which time he is most dangerous to himself and others. People think that manic-depressives are most dangerous when they're depressed but that's generally not the case. A guy who's 'up' can empty his bank account, have an affair out of the blue, or evenmake throwaway lines lie joey does which are insulting to one group or another. My guess is that he's off his meds most of the time or isn't titrated correctly. As an aside, I don't believe he is bipolar... Mika's clearly annoyed by him but has little choice but to sit there and take it...for now.

For a brief (and I mean brief) moment I had allowed myself to hope that MSNBC would have given Imus' morning slot to a left leaning host. Was I ever wrong on that one!

I guess they figured they needed another right wing talk show because, you know, the right-wingers don't get near enough airtime on MSNBC. :sarcasm:

33. It's only surprising after watching him follow "Countdown."
It's not like he was saying "Draft Gore" at the beginnings of his broadcasts, but when he followed Keith, he took a more independent stance of the right wing talking points. Makes you wonder how much of this is his attempt to appeal to a certain base that never saw him after Olbermann or with Bill Maher.
